Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you all had a fun and safe night last night ringing in the new year. I was asleep by 10:45pm LOL
I have some hefty goals for 2026; I want to be more active on my blog (as always), I want to read way more books this year than I did last year, I want to start my podcast back up with some new ideas, and I want to create new and healthy habits in my daily life.
I’ve already started eating better – and I don’t necessarily mean just the foods I’m consuming, but the timing of meals, as well. I used to skip breakfast or lunch and then only eat 1 real meal a day (dinner) and wonder why I felt like garbage. Over the last week or so, I’ve been making an actual breakfast for myself, eating at lunchtime, and then continuing to eat dinner the way I normally would. I have also been better about not overeating at dinnertime, which in turn, has helped to alleviate some of the midnight nausea I used to get almost nightly.
I’m not going to say 2026 will be “my year”, because I know January always brings new attitudes and positivity to the forefront of our minds, but if I work on creating habits, those are more likely to last.
I hope you all start the year strong, but more importantly, I hope you all stick to your goals this year for the long run! All we can do is try our best, but I believe in you all!
