Life Update

Hi lovelies!

What a year it’s been. 2025 has been pretty great so far, but also very tiring LOL

Over the holidays, we spent 2 weeks with family and we spent a lot of time trying new coffee spots, driving up and down the parkway to go from my family to my husband’s family, and we had multiple Christmases.

We were home for NYE and had people over to celebrate and it turned out to be our last gathering in our apartment!

Later in January, we decided it was time to move. We had been experiencing an increase in package thefts within our community, which then led to car break-ins, and eventually car thefts right out of our lot. The community itself was not making any moves to make the community safer and our unit was ground level backed up to woods, so I was getting increasingly worried that eventually car thefts would turn into apartment break-ins and we would’ve been a prime target.

We took a trip to SC to look at a bunch of places to potentially move to. We were there for about 3.5 days and toured about 10 properties. By the time we got back to Raleigh, we had pretty much made up our minds about which place we wanted to go with.

So, we now live in SC and we’re 12 minutes from the beach. I can’t believe these pictures are real, but here they are. Morning coffee with a sunrise view every morning, surrounded by saltwater and palm trees, been to the golf course twice now after having never been before, already had friends visit, sushi date on the beach at sunset, and corn hole in our driveway. This is life and I’m absolutely loving it!!
