Book Club Update

Hi lovelies!!

I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself to any new members here. My name is Amanda and I started Feel Freda Read earlier this year. I always had the hopes of making it an in-person book club for locals to get together, meet some new people and make friends, and read some good books.

I’m taking a break from the bookclub in general for November and December. We have a lot of things going on with the upcoming holidays and everything, so I don’t want to overdo it. More details on the in-person meetings to come. I’m thinking you can expect those details by mid-December.

For the existing bookclub members… I’m so sorry!! October’s book was a joke, so I didn’t even keep up with posting about it. If you finished the book, kudos to you! Not even the audio book version was enough to make me finish it LOL

I also had surgery a few weeks ago, so I haven’t really been able to read since then. I just picked up my first book a few days ago (Foe by Ian Reid) and it’s been the first book I’ve touched since my fail with October’s bookclub pick (The Housekeepers by Alex Hay).

Starting in January, I’m going to move the book club to an in-person club for the local people, while still keeping the online club going for those that are not local to Raleigh.

If you’re interested in joining the in-person bookclub, please sign up here.

If you’re interested solely in the online version of the bookclub, you can join on Goodreads or Fable (Fable is better for mobile use).
