Death Valley by Melissa Broder took me about 7 chapters until I finally got into it.
Sometimes when books take this long to get interesting, I read about a chapter a day because it’s boring and takes a lot for me to push through.
I feel like there was a lot of fluff at the beginning of this book, but now that I’m at this first milestone, I’m glad I continued reading! It’s getting interesting.
What are we thinking about this hike? Or about the thoughts surrounding the hotel employees? I can’t quite figure out those thoughts (more so why she’s having them and how they’re relevant), but hopefully it all becomes clearer as we continue reading!
Looking forward to our next milestone 🙂 As always, reach out with comments if you have any! You can message me via this blog, email, or via the bookclub pages on Fable, Goodreads, or Bookclubs.
What are your thoughts?
