More About Myself

Hi lovelies!

I realized that I have an entire “about me” page and it’s missing a lot of important information.

Other than being a wife and a sister, I’m also just… myself. I’m a work from home pharmaceutical speaker bureau professional, VERY part time blogger/podcaster, friend, cat mom, reader, and lover of most sweet treats!

I love to garden, even though I don’t have the space for one right now. I love to color, make vision boards, get ice cream from our favorite local shop, and my heart is about 3 sizes too big for my chest (metaphorically, of course!). I put others above myself, I spread myself thin, and I’ll be there for anyone and everyone who needs me (even if they don’t deserve it).

I was diagnosed with MS at age 19, but as I get closer to 28 years old, I’m feeling like I want my body to be free from medications. I have made the decision to press pause on infusions. I have other health issues that I’d like to give my body a real chance to fight off without an immunosuppressant drug getting in the way. This has led me to looking into getting healthier in terms of what I’m putting in my body. I also need to start moving more. I want to eat processed foods as minimally as possible, eat more whole fruits and veggies, and stay away from meats. I also want to find healthier alternatives for all the sweet treats that I most definitely should NOT be eating…

I know I can do it, I’m just lacking the motivation AND the discipline (Knight & Daze episode 2 shoutout) to do it. I’m going to challenge myself to be better at being disciplined and taking care of my body. I only get this one and I need to take care of it as best I can.

As always, if you’re curious about my experiences, my medical diagnosis, a recipe, or literally anything else, I’m an open book. You can always come to me.

You can email me, DM me on Instagram, or even shoot me a text. All my information can be found at the bottom of the page.
