Committing To Myself

Good morning, lovelies!

As some of you may know, I launched my second episode yesterday morning talking all about commitments, motivation and discipline, and habits.

WELL

Last night I took a huge step towards another commitment to myself. I will be starting a 12 week detox program in late September (September 26th to be exact) and I’m SO EXCITED to share my results with you all. I think it’s going to be truly life changing.

Between that, the massage therapy, and the soul healing I’ve been doing, I’m going to be a completely different person by Christmas!

Now that I’m thinking about it, I doubt I’ll be able to fully enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinners, but I know that healing my body is 1000% worth it.

Although I’m excited for this new journey, I am also very nervous about it. I feel like I’m going to have a very difficult time with it, but I know that the end result will be worth it.

I’m going to have to start looking into therapy so that I have something concrete to help me get through this emotionally. Detoxing takes a toll on your body because it works hard to rid your body of the toxic buildup. During that time, a lot of individuals will feel ill as the toxins move through and out of the body, and many times, people will also become very emotional.

Detoxing is good for the body AND the mind, and I’m eager to get started.
