I wanted to give some more information about my logo! I knew I wanted something super simple with a pop of color, so I went with “Knight & Daze” with a pink Lotus flower. I love love love being able to use a play-on-words for this blog. My last name can be used so many ways, but it hit me the other day that “night and day” is such a common phrase that I used to describe my life in comparison to how my life was a year ago and I thought it was perfect. The reason I chose “daze” instead of “day” was because lately I’ve felt like my whole world was in a daze, but I’ve learned that even though I’m in a daze, I can still accomplish things. The Lotus flower is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, detachment, self-regeneration, and rebirth. I felt as though it was a perfect symbol for my life at the moment because I’m dealing with so much, yet I was able to start fresh and start over with my life.
